Wallonia resists corporate dictatorship

25.10.2016

The year is 2016 B.C. Europe is entirely dominated by the interests of multinational corporations. Well, not entirely... One small village of indomitable Belgians still holds out against the invaders. And life is not easy for the money-grubbing CEOs who garrison the fortified camps of Nestlum, Novarticum, Glencors, Xtratum and Petrolum.
The Belgians in Wallonia have chosen democracy over the rule of corporate dictatorship. They have decided that they themselves will define their working conditions, their requirements for food quality and their ecological standards, instead of letting greedy corporate executives dictate their lives.
However, unlike the characters of Goscinny & Uderzo, the people of Wallonia don’t have a magic potion to help them defeat the attackers. They will have to make due with our solidarity. Therefore we call on you:
Send a rose to the people of Wallonia to show them that they are not alone in their resistance to Ceta, TTIP, TiSA and co.

You can order a rose here.
We will have it delivered to the parliament of Wallonia on Thursday, when the next negotiations will take place.
